We know how important it is to set time aside for rest, play, planning, and recharging. We want our beautiful lakefront space to be a place of inspiration and community building. We have been campers at Green Bay Family Camp for over a decade. It is one of the highlights of the year for everyone in our family! We love that week for many different reasons: quality time together as a couple (without cooking or cleaning!), time with our kids with all the amazing activities available, and connecting with friends. The freedom for kids to roam with their friends all day long and to have a break from our regular routine is awesome! At Green Bay we grow in our faith in a spectacular setting while surrounded by amazing staff and mentors for our children. God has blessed our time year after year at Green Bay... our lives are better for having been regulars at Green Bay Family Camp! Our son was a DTP this year - it had a profound impact on his faith journey - the impact of Green Bay on our family continues!
When I was one year old, I spent my first summer at Green Bay. Since then, every summer has been spent there. As a camper, Green Bay was the highlight of my summer and the single most anticipated event of the year. Now, having completed my fifth year serving on staff, I could not imagine a summer without the wonderful families and amazing events that help Green Bay impact so many lives. The relationships built with my concierge families are invaluable to me, and I dearly await their arrival back at camp year after year. Green Bay is a place of welcome, joy, fun, peace, and growth. I can't wait to be a part of the 2020 season.
I couldn't wait to be a DTP at Green Bay. My friends and I met as campers at Green Bay and had been planning it for YEARS. I had been going to Green Bay since I was 8 years old. Most of us had brothers or sisters who had worked at Green Bay too and we didn't want to miss out. It was the best summer ever. We threw birthday parties for each other, learned how to work hard and had to get up way early in the morning. It was all worth it because my relationship with God has grown stronger and I have seen him work in my life even after camp. Those friends have become family. I can't wait to do it again next summer!
