Donation Information
End Of Year Donations
Cheques mailed to us in an envelope which has a post-mark by Canada Post dated on or before the last day of the year are eligible for a Revenue Canada tax receipt for that tax year. Donations made online before (midnight) on December 31st of any year will be eligible for a tax receipt for that tax year.
Camper Support Policy
Individuals who designate money for a specific camper will NOT be provided a tax receipt as a charitable donation. Donors who designate their donation generally to “camper support” will receive a tax receipt for their charitable donation. As “camper support” donations are received we will match that money with kids or families who have applied for and been approved for sponsorship based on genuine need, taking applications in order by date received (without bias).
Recurring Donations By Credit Card
Your regular contributions will be used to support the ongoing operations of the ministry unless otherwise designated. You will be able to set up a recurring donation which will recur monthly on the same day of the month that you make your original donation. Please contact us directly if you need to terminate your monthly donation.
Donation Tax Receipts
Green Bay Bible Camp is a registered charity in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency. We comply with all regulations and requirements for charitable organizations by the Canada Revenue Agency, and the Income Tax Act. Our business and registration number is 10745 0710. Donations to Green Bay Bible Camp are eligible for an official tax receipt. Receipts are issued by February 28 of the calendar year that follows the year of the donation. Please provide us with your full name, email and mailing address at the time of donation, or let us know if you have recently moved. Receipts are emailed to you or will be sent by mail if no email address is provided.
Designated Gifts
Green Bay Bible Camp may ask for funds for a specific project or you may have an idea for the camp. All spending of funds is confined to Green Bay Bible Camp approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated toward an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by Green Bay Bible Camp, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program or project will be used where needed most as determined by the Leadership Team.
