Green Bay was founded as Green Bay Baptist Camp in 1954. Once only accessible by ferry, the founders had a great vision when they acquired the 11 acre property. Green Bay is located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley in West Kelowna, on the shores of Lake Okanagan – West Kelowna’s urban oasis. The lake front property houses a chapel and dining area, year-round guest lodge, summer cabins, full size gymnasium, huge field space, the largest enclosed dock on the lake and so much more.
Green Bay Bible Camp was established as a missionary arm through the Northern American Baptist (NAB) denomination, as a means of reaching youth with Christ’s message. Over time, Green Bay has developed a niche for excellence in family camping. Family camps provide an opportunity for all ages to attend and enjoy time together. Green Bay’s camps run successfully through the service of the Discipleship Training, Mentorship and Leadership Programs.
Although times have changed, the original founders’ values remain the same. Green Bay Bible Camp is committed to serving others while developing next generation disciples and leaders through these programs. It is our desire to help students and young adults deepen their relationship with God and discover the gifts and abilities God has given them.
