Peggy has been with us as a Registrar since 2012. Having moved here from the Prairies, she is thoroughly enjoying the beautiful Okanagan. It doesn’t get better than going from working in the middle of the city to working on the shores of Okanagan lake. Peggy has been married to Grant for 34 years. She has five children and a growing number of grandchildren!
Phil Archondous - Facilities Director
Phil comes to the position of Facilities Director with a wealth of experience from mechanical to construction and more, which means there isn’t much that he can’t build or fix to make Green Bay campers safe and comfortable. Phil and his wife, Linnea, have been married for 30 years. They have a son, Scott and a married daughter, Rachael. When Phil isn’t working he loves to go for rides on his motorcycle and spend time with his family.
Jack Hansen - Facilities Volunteer
Jack plays a vital role at Green Bay as our own jack-of-all-trades. He has been with us for 27 years and comes in daily Monday-Friday. He has three children, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He lives with his cat Casey who keeps him company. When Jack isn’t working at Green Bay he enjoys listening to hymns and waltzes and watching classic movies.
Jenn Koop - Executive Director
Jenn stepped up to Executive Director from the role of Program Director on September 1, 2017. She brings leadership, creativity and a deep sense of commitment to serve students and families with excellence. Jenn’s love for God is indelible to who she is and how she leads. She has a passion for creating an environment where families can grow and be strengthened. Jenn is married to Sid and has two children, Payton and Cole.
Sharon Niebuhr - Ceramics/Painting Instructor
Sharon runs our very popular ceramics and painting classes. She has been with us for 19 years. Without Sharon’s dedication to teaching new techniques and offering new ceramics pieces our summer camps would not be what they are today. Sharon has five children, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Megan Pena - Food Services Director
Megan comes to Green Bay with a background in professional catering and past experience working in a camp kitchen. With a diploma in Nutrition Management she is excited to provide our guests with nutritionally balanced meals by incorporating fresh local produce from the Okanagan Valley. Megan is married to Rob, and they have one son, Brenden.
Rob Perret - Finance Director
Rob came to the Camp from a background in missionary and humanitarian aid work in Pakistan, India, and Africa. He began doing the Camp’s finances in December 2004 – took a year off to do earthquake relief in Pakistan – then returned to his original position in 2007. Rob strives to maintain the highest standards for financial stewardship and accountability. He has been married to Donna since 1977. They have three married children and seven grandchildren.
