In honour of Bill and Ruth Hemerling
Many of you will recognize the names Bill and Ruth Hemerling. Bill and Ruth
believed deeply in the ministry of Green Bay. Bill served several terms as board
chair and was actively involved in many building projects, including designing the
dock and the gymnasium. Ruth is remembered by many as a caring camp nurse
and someone you could always count on for a word of encouragement and a
Bill and Ruth also enjoyed many years as campers coming with their children and
grandchildren. They loved the times of worship and fellowship and the many
close friendships they developed at the camp over the years. Green Bay was
indeed a very special place to them throughout their lives.
In honour of Bill and Ruth and the ministry of Green Bay, the Hemerling family
has generously provided Green Bay Bible Camp with a match gift of $100,000.
