What is GBU?
GBU is an intensive discipleship training program designed to take you further in your personal relationship with God and to provide you with life skills, all within an amazing camp environment. You will be trained in servant leadership as you learn to teach camp activities. You will experience a rich mixture of hard work, personal mentoring, solid friendships and Bible studies.

Exposure: Being part of GBU gives you the opportunity to work alongside Green Bay Bible Camp's summer staff and to take part in an incredible program. This provides an environment which functions as your classroom, where small group interaction and team building are nurtured. What better way to learn than hands-on experience, putting theory into action? Expose yourself to new activities, new friendships, leadership training and a world of practical experience that you won't find anywhere else.
What's its purpose?
Our goal is to equip high school students with practical skills and develop within them a contagious character modeled by the life of Jesus Christ. These tools will provide a foundation and the confidence to be a positive influence at school, work, or home. Once you have completed both the LITE and SLUG programs, you are qualified for future summer staff positions.
Who is it for?
The LITE program is for students entering grade 10 or 11. SLUG is for students entering grade 11 or 12. Students must possess a strong desire to learn and a passion to serve. Even more important is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to grow spiritually.

GBU fees include room and board, two GBU T-shirts, and a leadership training seminar.
Complete and final GBU payments must be received in the office by April 29, 2010 (see tax note below). 20% of the fee is non-refundable and secures your registration. The remaining balance of the fee is only refundable up to 30 days prior to your term's start date. All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds for GBU fees are not made for any participants arriving late or leaving early for any reason.
Tax Note: GBU applications and payments will be accepted after April 29,2010, if space is available in the program, but will be subject to HST of 12% on the full fee. It is anticipated that full payment received on or before April 29, 2010 will only be subject to GST.
