Mike Penninga is first and foremost a son of God, a husband to Michelle, a father of 3, and a Kelowna boy through-and-through! 20 years ago he served at Green Bay Bible Camp as part of their first ever Video Crew, followed by a year as Assistant Program Director. Since then he has spoken numerous times at Green Bay and camps around BC. A grad of Trinity Western University and ACTS seminary with a background in broadcast journalism, Mike has a passion for sharing the life changing news of Jesus Christ in understandable and captivating ways. He has been the Senior Pastor at Kelowna Gospel Fellowship since March 2009.
Dr. Rob Hildebrand chairs the Practical Theology Division and Youth Ministry Department at Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. He is tremendously excited about the opportunity to come home and speak to people who understand his accent and get his hockey references.
Ed Weiss has been in full-time ministry for over 30 years, serving as a pastor, international speaker, and counselor. His family relocated to Kelowna in 2006 to help establish “The House“, an open Christian area geared towards young adults and University students. He has served on the communication team since their doors opened. Ed’s formal commitment to helping teens and young adults began in 1982 with a personal sense of mission to inspire young people in fulfilling their God-given potential.
His warm heart and ability to compassionately communicate allow him to provide a caring environment for every individual. He invites people in conversations of life and faith in an open and engaging way.
Brody has been blessed with doing youth ministry for the last 15 years. He has a passion for communicating God’s word, and believes the church unleashed can rattle the cosmos. He is married to his better half Jodie, and they have 3 beautiful kids. He is a die hard Oilers fan, and a below average golfer. Brody and Jodie are pumped to be part of the ministry this week at Green Bay as they know the power of ministry lived out in the home. Brody is youth pastor at Sherwood Park Alliance Church in Alberta.
Mark grew up in Toronto and moved to Vancouver in 2004 to attend Regent College, where he received a Master of New Testament Studies. Following ten years in ministry, Mark planted Village Church in January 2010. Mark is also the author of Paul and the Gospel of God. He is passionate about contextualizing the gospel and seeing people transformed by Jesus Christ. Mark resides in South Surrey with his wife and their three daughters. He is honoured and excited to lead Village Church wherever God calls it to go.
Mark’s passions are connecting the message of Jesus to our culture and seeing people transformed by Jesus. We can’t wait for you to experience his messages.
Cody seeks to faithfully serve Jesus in the areas of preaching, spiritual formation, and discipleship. He is Passionate about the local Church and longs to see all peoples become captivated by the Gospel of Messiah Jesus. He is married to Brianna, and they live in the bustling metropolis of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He loves reading, music, philosophy, cultures, art, and hiking.
Green Bay Lite (GBL) is just that, a LITE version of our other family camps. We are able to offer this camp at a reduced rate during the last week of our summer by cutting back on some programming and staffing so you can get a TASTE of our popular family camps.

Waterfront activities with our MasterCraft boats – wakeboarding, waterskiing, scenic cruise (child care available for scenic cruise only).
Lifeguards on duty for swimming and use of waterfront toys.
Ceramics and painting classes.
Supervised archery and climbing wall.
Use of our facilities like gym, tennis courts, field, skateboard park, canoes and kayaks, SUP boards.
Chapel and Fireside with one of our great speakers.
What is NOT available during GBL:
Personalized Concierge Service for your family.
Child care (available only for scenic cruise during GBL).
Kids and Youth programming.
Free time programmed activities like Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, etc.

Guidelines: To receive a 25% discount…
Both the Referred Family and the Referring Family must contact the office to let us know about the referral. No refund can be issued until both notifications (email or phone) have been received. They must be received before the start-date of your camp in order to be eligible for the referral discount.
Referred Family qualifies:
if they have never been to Green Bay before as campers
if the family has 3 or more paying members within a registration
if the Referring Family is not already receiving an additional discount
25% referral discount is not applied or refunded until the Referred Family has registered and paid for their camp.
If the Referring Family has already registered for camp, the discount will be refunded back to their credit card.
If the Referred Family cancels their registration, the Referring Family will be expected to pay back the 25% discount.
We try our best to meet specific dietary needs but are unable to cater to dietary preferences. If you have food allergies or other dietary concerns, they must be noted when registering for camp, or submitted no later than one week prior to your event, so the kitchen can prepare accordingly. All special meals will be registered to each individual camper and picked up from the kitchen at meal times.

We accept MasterCard, Visa or cheque payments (cash or debit card payments can be processed in person at our office). Multiple payments are an option for all forms of payment. However, final payment must be received by April 30th. After this date, full payment will be required at the time of registration.

Mailed in registrations – a cheque (current-dated) must be enclosed with registration form in order to be processed. If not paying in full, post-dated cheques must be sent in to be paid in full by April 30th. If registering after April 30th, full payment must be received. Please make sure to sign the waiver and check the cancellation policy box on your registration form. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once we have received your cheque and processed your registration.
Online registrations – your cheque/cheques must be received within 10 business days to maintain registration. If not paying in full, post-dated cheques must be sent in to be paid in full by April 30th. If registering after April 30th, full payment must be received. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once we have received your cheque.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
In the event of a cancellation there is a non-refundable deposit fee. Per person non-refundable amounts are as follows:
The remaining balance of your registration fee is refundable up to 30 days prior to your camp’s start date. Within 30 days of your camp’s start date, the remaining balance of your registration fee may be refunded only if that camp is full and we are able to replace your spot with someone from our waiting list. All cancellation requests must be received in writing. Refunds for registration fees are not made for any campers unable to attend, arriving late, or leaving early, for any reason, including health.
Other refunds resulting from registration changes or cancellations made at your request may be subject to a 3% administration fee.
